Be open, experience life
“Book magic,” designed by me
Here are a couple of great quotes from the wise Jiddhu Krishnamurti.
Jiddu Krishnamurti (1895 – 1986) was an Indian spiritual figure, philosopher, public speaker, and writer.
I appreciate Krishnamurti’s open-minded attitude, and I designed the graphic above to illustrate his first quote which follows.
You must understand the whole of life, not just one part of it. That is why you must read, that is why you must look at the skies, why you must sing, dance and write poems, and suffer, and understand, for all that is life. Jiddu Krishnamurti, Think on These Things
You wouldn’t want to read only part of a good book. You’d want to read all of it. Some chapters are easy, some are hard. Some are light-hearted, others are devastating. But everything has a lesson if you are willing to learn. The rainbow has many colors, and there is a beautiful pattern for those who look to the skies.
“Follow the wandering, the distraction, find out why the mind has wandered; pursue it, go into it fully. When the distraction is completely understood, then that particular distraction is gone. When another comes, pursue it also.” From a talk given by Jiddu Krishnamurti in Rajahmundry, India, on November 20, 1949.
It is out of life’s surprises, its seeming coincidences, its chance occurrences, that magic can appear.

So Merlin, thank you for this...you always create magic ;)
